Wow, I am SO happy with this I'm like gushing out joy! Yes, finally read a horse tutorial anatomy and understood it for once, but it's nice having your own style too but I wanted her to be more horse shaped? xD Had to sketch>outline in black ink>scan>reoutline in photoshop> color> added textures :3

* Name: Melody
* Sex: female
* Personality: quiet, content, peaceful
* What you plan on doing with the character: First of all, I added little things to her design that resemble myself. She's pretty much a persona based off of me but I just added little trinkets to her of what I liked. The opal necklace is tied to her tail, the sakura tattoo on her lower belly, some random hearts as spots. I applied for her because she has teal one of my favorite colors now and I didn't want to change any of her body, she's just tooooo gorgeous!! By the way, the name is one of my favorite names for a girl. (I'd like to name my child one day...)

Anyways, I want her to be my journal mascot. She'd be drawn and put in my DA journal layout or ID if my subbie dies. I think she's the most creative horse I've seen and she was so much fun to draw. x3

* Brief history: I don't really have a huge storyline or anything for her, she's just the friend of Wysteria's family. Wysteria is my oldest horse character. (He's the one in my icon :3) He's just good friends with Melody, and they met on the beach when she was simply roaming around. Her personality pretty much describes me as quiet when first meeting me and then happy and nice later on.
